Chandler Update {20 months}

20months

Measurements:
-I weighed him on our home scale, which I'm sure varies from the doctor but he weighed 23.4 lbs. We think he has hit a growth spurt even though the scale doesn't reflect it (either that or he just has a tiny baby sister that makes him seem huge)!

Clothes:
-shirts: mostly all 12-18 shirts
-pants: 12 month or 12-18 month
-pjs: 12-18 month, 18 month
-shoe: size 5/6

Sleeping:
-still taking a morning nap most days unless we are busy running errands or working outside with daddy 10:30am-12pm and 2:30pm-4:30pm
-sleeps at night from 8:00pm-8:00am

Eating:
-you never know about your eating, one day you like it and the next you don't
-we try to offer you some of everything we are having (unless its too spicy or something) so you can try lots of different foods
-you recently tried almonds and cashews for the first time and think they are really good, you are starting to not want things cut up into pieces
-you love eating things with a spoon (applesauce, yogurt, oatmeal are your favorites)

New Tricks:
-you have a made up sound for all the tools/lawn equipment
-you can play a few games independently on my phone
-you like to wipe your own mouth and nose
-you can climb up onto the couch by yourself
-you are using a spoon and fork really well these days

Talking:
-you have about 6 words now that you are using more; mama, dada, yes, ball, more, and up
-you are babbling and wanting to hear your voice more this month, we aren't used to hearing you be so loud!
-you still mostly sign but it is fun to begin to hear you add the word with it
-new signs you are using: you recently got Leah's farm Signing Time DVD, lots of animal signs: chicken, rooster, squirrel, snake, sheep and more

Teeth: 16

Likes:
-tools
-new lawnmower toy
-putting things back in their proper place
-bath time

-your new bed
-seeing Audrey
-sitting in the chair with daddy and eating cereal

Dislikes:
