Pumpkin Patch Favorites

These are a few (okay, maybe more than a few) of the favorites from our trip to the pumpkin patch. If you haven't noticed Chandler has come up with a new smile that he will do when you say "cheese". He really enjoyed the hay and playing peek-a-boo with the fence.

These are from the beginning of October but I have loved watching Chandler's walking progression. He gets faster and faster everyday. Now he thinks he is big enough to run. It catches up with him sometimes though!

Baby No. 2 :: 16 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights this Week:

How Far Along: 16 weeks

Size of baby: an avocado 

Measurements: 4 1/2 inches, weighs 3 1/2 ounces

Baby Milestones: baby is getting ready for a growth spurt, over the new few weeks will double weight and add inches to length, eyes and ears are close to their final position, started growing toenails, heart is now pumping 25 quarts of blood a day

Best Moment this week: We went home to celebrate my grandpa's 80th birthday this past weekend. We got to spend time with lots of family we don't see often. 

Gender: ?? 

Movement: I don't think so, I have felt something on my right side but can't tell if it was the baby or not

Food/Drink Craving: chocolate milk, jalapeno chips, sushi, hamburgers 

Sleep: actually going pretty well

What I am looking forward to: going to the doctor next week to check on this baby! 

Symptoms: feeling alot better this week, only took medicine a couple days

Cooper Reed

Cooper Reed made an early arrival on October 11. He had to stay in the NICU for about a week but is now home and doing great. 

Parker loved checking out his baby brother in the window.

Mammy and Pappy came up to see the little man so we got to visit for a few minutes. 

Isn't he adorable?

We are thankful for another nephew/cousin around here!

Baby No. 2 :: 15 weeks

My belly looks weird in this picture. I don't know what to say about it. I think it must either be the way I am holding Chandler or my clothes, who knows. Maybe Chandler will be able to hold the sign before the pregnancy is over!

Pregnancy Highlights this Week:

How Far Along: 15 weeks

Size of baby: an apple

Measurements: 4 inches, weighs 2 1/2 ounces

Baby Milestones: baby's legs are starting to grow longer than arms, can sense light (although eyelids are still fused shut), forming taste buds

Best Moment this week: we got to see my old college roommate, Amber and her husband Kyle this past weekend

Gender: still don't know, about 3 weeks

Movement: none yet

Food/Drink Craving: chocolate milk, jalapeno chips

Sleep: just waking up on and off

What I am looking forward to: going to see family this weekend

Symptoms: I can't believe I'm still nauseous because it didn't last very long with Chandler but I'm hopeful it will be gone soon.

Hats, Hats, and more Hats

Chandler started to notice Cody's hat about a month or so ago. He always wants Cody to wear his hat. He will come home from work and take it off and if Chandler sees it he will sign hat over and over.

We have been looking for hats for Chandler but we haven't found many in his size. Here are the few he has been modeling for us lately.

His new favorite. It is on the smallest setting and still a little big! 

His party animal crown that he refused to wear until this past week. 

Yes we realize it is super hot but how can you resist that cute face wanting to wear his snow hat?
