Happy Thanksgiving!

So just to set the record straight...having a week off of teaching for Thanksgiving is the best idea ever. Cody has been off alot this week which has made the week even more amazing.

About a week ago Kirby and I decided to craft up some turkey shirts. Here is cute Parker (my nephew) in his shirt.

Also, I got a sewing machine as an early Christmas gift. It is amazing. Hopefully more crafts to come...

Happy Turkey Day. We have so much to be thankful for.

Another funny!

I forgot about this funny until Ash was talking about it this morning.

One afternoon at school we hear an announcement that says,

"Attention parents, there is a grey Mazda outside in the circle drive that needs to be moved immediately, it is holding up traffic."

One of my little precious children raises his hand and says "Mrs. Groves are monsters real?"

Of course I told him no. He said "Then why did they just say there is a grey MONSTER in the circle drive that needs to move?" :)

I just started laughing and reassured him that they said Mazda and that is was a kind of car.

School Funnies!

There are usually lots of funny things happening in my classroom! My kids are hilarious this year. I never know what they might say or do. Here are a few of the latest.

Devyn: Mrs. Groves look at my new jeans. Don't you like them?
Me: Wow, those look really nice. I like them alot.
Devyn: Do you know what kind they are?
Me: No, I have no idea. (thinking maybe what brand...)
Devyn: There BOOTCUPS!

:)

La'Ziadrian: Mrs. Groves I know what your first name is. I read it on your nametag.
Me: Oh, really what is it?
La'Ziadrian: (all proud) "Choncey" Groves (giggling) Your name is "Choncey" Groves!

It was too cute. I couldn't correct him. I will try to get him to say it on video for the full effect.

Chace: I got ant pops on my legs this weekend.
Me: What?
Chace: You know when ants bite you they make those ant pop things on your legs.

Ant pops.. never heard that one before.
